These Terms of Use ("Terms") are an agreement between you and [registered business name] ("we", "us"), which runs Core9X at https://www.core9x.com ("Core9X"). By creating an account or using Core9X, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy and Refund and Cancellation Policy.
If you are under 18, a parent or guardian must agree to these Terms for you. When we say "you", we mean the student and, for a student under 18, their parent or guardian too.
1. Who can use Core9X
- Core9X is for school students and their parents or guardians.
- A student under 18 can use Core9X only after a parent or guardian confirms their consent with the one-time code we send to the parent's mobile number. The parent or guardian is responsible for the student's use of Core9X and for any payment.
- You must give true details when you sign up, and keep them up to date.
2. Your account
- One account is for one student. Do not share your account or your password.
- Keep your password secret. Tell us at once if you think someone else has used your account.
- We may suspend or close an account that breaks these Terms, for example by sharing paid content or trying to get around the locks on it.
3. What Core9X provides
- Core9X provides study material, practice questions, chapter tests, mock tests and related tools for school examinations, starting with the MBOSE Class X (SSLC) syllabus.
- Core9X is independent. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to the Meghalaya Board of School Education (MBOSE) or any other board. Our notes, questions, model answers, marking and exam patterns are prepared by us from the published syllabus, textbooks and past papers. Always follow your school and the board for official syllabus changes, exam dates and rules.
- We work hard to make the content accurate, but it may contain mistakes. If you find one, please tell us so we can fix it.
- Mock test scores, self-marked answers and any predictions are a guide for practice. We do not guarantee any marks or result in a board examination.
4. Free plan, paid plans and payment
- Free plan: the first chapter of every subject — its lessons, practice questions and chapter test — and the Mistake notebook.
- One subject — ₹199: every chapter of one subject, with its lessons, practice questions, chapter tests and full mock tests.
- Full package — ₹699: the same for English, Mathematics, Science and Social Science, plus one of Health and Physical Education or Computer Science, chosen at checkout.
- Prices are in Indian rupees and include all applicable taxes. The price you pay is the price shown at checkout. If we change our prices, the change does not affect plans already paid for.
- How long a plan lasts: until the end of the academic session it was bought for. For the 2026-27 session, access ends at the end of 31 January 2027. Plans do not renew automatically, and you will not be charged again unless you choose to buy again.
- Payments are processed by our payment partner, Razorpay. We never see or store your card, UPI or bank details. A payment for a student under 18 must be made by, or with the permission of, their parent or guardian.
- Access is given to the account that made the purchase as soon as the payment is confirmed. See our Delivery Policy.
- Refunds are covered by our Refund and Cancellation Policy.
5. What you may and may not do
You may use Core9X for your own personal, non-commercial study. You must not:
- copy, download in bulk, record, sell, share or publish Core9X content, questions or answers, or let anyone else use your paid access;
- use bots, scrapers or other automated tools on Core9X, or try to get around its security or access controls;
- upload anything unlawful, harmful or offensive, or misuse Core9X to harass anyone;
- pretend to be someone else, or give false details;
- interfere with Core9X or other students' use of it.
6. Our content
All content on Core9X — including notes, questions, answers, tests, figures, design and software — belongs to us or to those who licensed it to us, and is protected by copyright and other laws. Using Core9X gives you a limited, personal, non-transferable licence to use the content for your own study while your access lasts. Names of boards, textbooks and examinations are used only to describe what our content covers.
7. Changes and availability
We may improve, change or stop features of Core9X. We will try to keep Core9X available, but it may sometimes be unavailable for maintenance or for reasons outside our control. If a paid feature is withdrawn while your plan is active, we will offer a fair alternative or a proportionate refund.
8. Limits of our responsibility
- Core9X is provided "as is" for study and practice. Except where the law does not allow it, we are not responsible for indirect losses, or for any result in an examination.
- Except where the law does not allow it, our total responsibility to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
- Nothing in these Terms takes away rights you have under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 or any other law that cannot be excluded.
9. Ending your account
You may stop using Core9X at any time and ask us to delete your account (see our Privacy Policy). We may suspend or end an account that seriously or repeatedly breaks these Terms; we will tell you why, unless the law stops us. Refunds in either case follow our Refund and Cancellation Policy.
10. Law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Please contact us first so we can try to resolve any problem (see Contact us). Subject to that, the courts at ****[city for courts], Meghalaya will have jurisdiction, without affecting your right as a consumer to approach a consumer commission.
11. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. If a change is important, we will tell you on Core9X or by email before it takes effect. Continuing to use Core9X after that means you accept the updated Terms.
